Exhaustion

Tiredness, a curse.
It’s hard to feel worse.
Exhaustion, confusion,
Life becomes delusion.

It’s a complete unwell feeling
Like a fish caught and reeled in.
Not enough chance for sleep,
Not too far from defeat.

To yearn for escape,
Trapped, frustrated, no control,
Best made plans laid waste,
A bird caged, a fish in a bowl.
